Winter 'Home Retreat' Workshop, New T-shirts & Local Gig Invite

Winter draws us inward, what awaits you there? Come and explore with me for a special 'Home Retreat' workshop. Designed for you to do at home making a cosy winter retreat even more magic, but if you prefer to come to Dunedin and be in studio you can do that too.
Why do we do workshops in yoga? The time and space to dive deeper into our practice is important, not only for understanding to develop but also for us to learn how to carve out time and space for ourselves, to nurture deeply so we can return to normal life renewed, more grounded and with more integration of yoga into our lives. This integrations makes us better people, more able to deal with the ups & downs of life. See details below and book in now for this workshop.
I am excited to be launching the Te Reo Māori edition of our IYD T shirts! Matariki isn't far away, I hope you are able to plan something to celebrate with those you love. These T shirts will always be available to order along with the Classic T's with the colours etc below.
International Yoga Day is this Sunday, I can't wait to be part of the Dunedin Indian Association's celebrations and hope to see you at Dunedin Normal Intermediate 3-5pm. If you would like a copy of Geeta Iyengar's International Yoga Day sequence let me know and I will send it to you.
Saturday night in Ōtepoti has a gig you might like to go to, Junie, one of our IYD students has shared this as it's her sweetheart performing at Moons and it should be a great night out! Link and details below for you.

Winter 'Home Retreat' Workshop
- Winter - A time to turn inward: Create the retreat to suit you from your home or in the studio. This workshop is designed for you to do from your space via Zoom or in person.
- In studio spaces available: Prefer to come to Dunedin or be in studio? There are spaces available to accomodate this.
- Friday 31st July - Sunday 2nd August: Bookings by Friday 17 July 2026.
- Workshop fee: $220.00 for the weekend, $200.00 for members of The Practice Room.
T-Shirt Orders
- T-Shirts: A number of you have been asking for more T-shirts, please get your orders in by 1st July 2026.
- IYD Classic T's: White, Blue, Sage or Pink
- Te Reo Māori Edition: On the front Iyengar Yoga Ōtepoti and on the back Yoga tūturu mō te hunga tūturu. Te Reo edition colours are White,Brown & Army Green but can be ordered in the classic colours.
- $55.00 each or $100.00 for two T's.
